Today You Turn Three

My sweet darling baby boy
Today you turn three.  

You are the noise, the tears the tired.
The Gentle, curious, funny, and wild. 

You keep me on my toes all day. You make me laugh, turn my hair grey. 

I couldn’t have dreamt you if I tried.
You, my perfect first born child. Our journey together has sometimes been tough.
Days where I shout “I’ve had enough” 

Every day you make my heart roar. I will love you for evermore. 

Thank you for teaching me how to be your mama,
for showing me life through the eyes of a baba.
